Background
This was a case of one brand known by two names. With projects built both under Nishant Construction and Ratnaakar, there was disparity in brand equity and a total disconnect with the customers. While the individual projects brought Compliments to the individual builders, not much value and equity were added to one name. Ratnakaar wanted to answer the question – Which was the mother brand?
Brief
Create a singular brand image born from the brand’s legacy. Build a solid brand architecture. Develop a coherent and consistent brand language. Craft and redesign every touchpoint to reinforce the brand.
Solution
New Brand Architecture and New Brand Idea.NCPL was separated as a legal entity and efforts were now directed towards building and promoting Ratnaakar. The name now became the hallmark for all its offerings. The two brands’ collective efforts were presented in the single line – ‘LEGACY OF TRUST.’ The rebranding came more as a greater reassurance than as a revamp.
Brand Identity
Thanks to a legacy of trust, Ratnaakar makes it easy to take “the first step” in real estate investment. We translated this metaphorical “first step” into the brand insignia. A staircase – often seen as a symbol of growth – became the brand identity.

Visual language and image style
We adopted an image style that helped in better exhibiting the uniformity, symmetry and the clean facades that define Ratnaakar. The black and white images and the bug’s eye view of buildings complimented the confident voice behind.
Brand Collaterals
With years of trust already doing the talking, we chose to present all of the brand collaterals in a simple yet distinct visual language. Knowing that the consumers were already sold on the brand, we tried only present the project features better.
